Milestones offers the opportunity to integrate medical, psychological and psychotherapeutic interventions with a range of health and
well being opportunities.

 

This is popular and effective with those using our services and is consistent with our philosophy with maximising choice in the planning of programmes of treatment and care.

 

All supporting health and well being services are integrated within the care planning process and utilised to inform the individualised, bespoke programmes of treatment and care.

Primary Health care

 

Individuals have direct access to all primary care services. As standard practice all individuals are registered with and assessed by the local GP upon admission with regular follow up health checks. Individuals are also supported in accessing dentistry, opticians, hospital investigations and appointments.

 

Dietetics

 

Individuals have access to specialist dietary assessment and advice to optimise their physical and mental well being. Milestones Dietician also provides heath education programmes for patients and staff.

 

Physical Fitness

 

Milestones provide access to an experienced Physical Fitness Instructor who works with individuals to develop a personalised fitness regime. We have internal and external fitness areas on site offering a wide variety of exercise options.  In addition, it is Milestones ethos to promote social integration and normalised living, therefore the use of community based facilities and activities are encourage and promoted.

Wellbeing Therapies

 

Wellbeing therapies are provided in a tranquil stand alone garden retreat. The therapies offered include but are not limited to:
